The largest power& energy, metering and smart power grid show "2018 African Utility Week" was opened in Cape Town on May 15, 2018.  Wasion Group made a wonderful performance with its smart metering products, energy storage solution, intelligent distribution grid supervisory control system and AMI demonstration program, and deeply communicated and exchanged experience with customers and partners around the world with enthusiastic scene response.

The 18th annual African Utility Week is the leading conference and trade exhibition for African power, energy and water professionals. The event brings together over 7000 decision makers to source the latest solutions and meet over 300 suppliers. Along with multiple side events and numerous networking functions, the event also boasts a 6 track conference with over 300 expert speakers. African Utility Week provides the largest gathering of energy and water professionals focused on all aspects of the provision of energy services to the African market.

Wasion appeared on Africa Utility Week with its latest AMI+STS solution, it demonstrated the application of PLC, RF and GPRS communications solutions in crowded residential areas, open villas and large factories/business districts, which demonstrated excellent system integration capability of Wasion.

In April 2011, South Africa government granted 10 billion to ESKOM to develop the electricity business, especially focused on new energy market, such as solar power.
